What is the yellow spot in my lawn?

Fungus caused by excess water/moisture in the ground.

Are there any types of insects that are beneficial to humans?

Yes. Honey bees are important for pollination of crops and can be considered beneficial. They should only be considered a pest when there location causes issues when interacting with people.

Why can’t people treat their own issues with products from the store?

It is important that pesticides are used properly, even natural/organic ones. Our technicians are trained to identify the pests and use the proper treatment to insure the safest environment for the customer and their family (and pets if they have them)

Is that a termite or flying ant?

Winged termites will have a straight waist, straight antenna, and their wings are equal in size.

Flying ants will have a pinched waist in the middle, with a bent antenna, and two sets of wings. The top set being larger than the lower set.

How long should I wait to call for additional service?

It generally takes 7-10 days for the treatment to be fully effective.
